Courtney & Dan, what a freaking cute as hell, big smiling, awesome combo. These two came all the way from the big smoke of Brisvegas to our quaint little city to tie the knot, ensuring all their nearest and dearest could watch on.
I’m always impressed when somehow an entire wedding gets planned and flawlessly executed from interstate and it was incredibly humbling to have these guys trust us to shoot and film their wedding without ever having met us.
The beautifully manicured gardens of Carrick Hill were the chosen location and the frontage of the gorgeous heritage house the perfect spot for the ‘I do’s’. The obvious bond between the bridal party was in full swing when some of us trying to organise them couldn’t get a word in edge ways. Courtney would soon advise me they had only just all met each other!! What a crew.
Beautiful light took us into photos for the later part of the day; these two being so easy to manage with natural and shameless affection for one another.
Then on to a spectacular dinner where Courtney (of My Kitchen Rules fame) let her affection for food woo the masses while laughter, chatter and an amazing vibe carried them all through the evening and into an epic dance party!
To end the night there’s normally some kind of dessert table or cake, but, loyal to SA and the great culinary scape that we have, a near on 5kg solid block of Haighs chocolate was unveiled with chisel and hammer for a ‘cut your own’ chocolate shards style experience… amazing.
